IPD Services
In patient services include the ward and nursing station and all other facilities necessary for good patient care. To provide care under direct supervision for a patient at the point of illness when dependence on others is at its height by admitiing in a hospital bed. Our objective is to provide the highest possible quality of medical and nursing care for an admitted patient.
- To make provision for an essential equipments, drugs and all other items required for patient's care.
- To provide most comfortable and desirable environment on temporary substitution for home.
- To fulfill all the basic needs in the hospital like eating sleeping, etc.
- To facilitate the visit of attendants and visitors.
Casualty/ Emergency
The original term (Casualty) meant a seriously injured patient. It was predominantly a military word, a general term for the accidents of services after a battle the dead, the wounded and the sick lumped together as casualties.
The Casualty which comprised those who were supposed to require temporary treatment for simple diseases, The casualty patients are attended to in a new building. It consisted of a large well ventilated room. The surgical casualties were seen by the house surgeon and the dressers of the inpatients, while the medical casualties were seen by the apothecaries of the hospital who were paid officials.
Dialysis Therapy
The blood comes out of the patient through a flexible tube known as a catheter. The tube is inserted into the vein. Like the kidneys, the filters remove the waste products from the blood.
